Proposition 8 passed in California in the November elections, defining marriage as only between a man and a woman. It has been written into the state constitution.

This event has triggered a tremendous response in the pro-equality community to get it overturned. The tremendous amount of money from individuals and organizations - primarily religious groups - allowed Californians to be led into thinking that by passing Prop 8, they would be protecting their marriage, their kids, and their family. They were wrong.

We have created an organization to use the power of the internet to mobilize individuals to spread the truth on Proposition 8, and on the subject of same-sex marriage in general. ZeroH8.tv provides individuals the opportunity to purchase air time on cable channels throughout California to present the truth.

Why Is This Important?

There will be many court and legal challenges to Prop 8 in the coming weeks and months. It is important to continue to present the facts that same-sex marriage is not a threat to anyone. Not to any marriage, not to the church, and not to kids. It is only the fair thing to do.

Do we think anyone is going to easily change their mind just because they see one commercial on the cable television channel? Not likely. But if Californians continually see the positive side of the issue, over time it will make a difference.

How to Help

You can purchase time for any of these videos to be shown on cable broadcast television in California.

When you purchase the air time, you can select the video, the market, the networks, and how much you would like to spend. Then include your contact information. The name you include will appear at the end of the video, showing your support.
